The acidic conditions of the stomach have a destructive effect on good bacteria, and in order to minimize the effect of acid on live bacteria, they are encapsulated in DR or prolonged release capsules. This means that more bacteria reach the lower part of the gut, where they begin to grow and multiply. The capsules are made of vegetable cellulose and have three times less moisture than regular gelatin capsules. All Lamberts probiotic capsules are packaged in a high-quality pot that keeps light and moisture away from the capsules as live bacteria are killed by moisture. The inner wall of the jar is covered with a special moisture-absorbing lining, which removes all moisture from the jar and prevents the contents of the capsule from being destroyed.
